Established in 1988, Tulip Group comprising of eight independent companies has emerged as the leading manufacturer and marketer of in vitro diagnostic reagents and kits, nationally and internationally.

Well known for its innovative approach, the companies are owned, managed and run by highly involved professionals and has continuously set new trends through product development and improvements.

The group companies are headquartered in the scenic state of Goa, India.

The individual group companies specialize in research, development and designing of specific systems and platforms in diverse technological areas covering almost all areas of diagnostic relevance. While Tulip Diagnostics (P) Ltd., focuses on assay systems for Immunohaematology, Hematology, Rheumatology, Infectious Diseases and Hemostasis, its Division Microxpress focuses on Essential Microbiology, Mycobacteriology, Dehydrated Culture Media, bases and supplements. Orchid Biomedical Systems, Qualpro Diagnostics, Zephyr Biomedicals focuses on rapid membrane based immunodiagnostic platforms for Fertility, Infectious Diseases and Parasitology. Coral Clinical Systems focuses on Clinical and Analytical Reagents. Its division BioShields deals with high technology disinfectants for industrial, medical and domestic use.

The group has continuously evolved foraying into different ventures. Tulip Instruments Division was launched in the year 2000 to complement the Precision, Accuracy and Reliability of Tulip reagents, with analysers and coagulometers that could perform reliably in stringent domestic conditions. The Instruments Division currently has over 1000 installations with more than 30 service engineers in 11 branches all over the country.

Tulip has always responded to user requirements, leading the forefront in development and introducing cutting edge technology based product platforms. Matrix Gel System for blood banking is another such venture into the latest gel column technology.

In 2006, Tulip Group launched two major projects, High technology disinfectants manufactured by BioShields and Accumix range of dehydrated media products by Microxpress.

Sharp segmental focus through well-differentiated and dedicated research, production and sales teams ensures a flush new product pipeline and a wide user base for the group's products; both nationally and internationally.

The companies apply cGMP and GLP in force from time to time and all companies are ISO 9001:2000, ISO 13485: 2003 compliant. Most of the products are CE marked.
